An aging bachelor from a declining Serbian village is trying to convince his grandniece from Berlin to find a husband and escape his fate. As they stubbornly argue, the village becomes a showcase for the nonsense of Balkan conflicts and social pressures that drag down an individual who doesn’t fit in.
